eHR Engagement Initiative (EEI)
The engagement and participation of all stakeholders in the private and non-government sectors will be essential to building up a territory-wide patient-oriented eHR sharing system. The Government is launching an eHR Engagement Initiative (EEI) with all relevant stakeholders, and inviting them to submit proposals on partnerships for eHR development.
Stakeholders
- All private and non-government healthcare providers; and
- IT service sector.
Objectives
- Invite eHR partnership proposals from potential partners in the healthcare and IT sectors;
- Provide an opportunity to promote and update the stakeholders with the latest development of eHR programme;
- Gain feedback from healthcare sector stakeholders in what ways eHR would assist their care of patients, facilitate continuity of care and enhance safety and quality;
- Gain a more in-depth appreciation of current and future development plans for eMR/ePR systems in the private and non-governmental sectors; and
- Share ideas that can promote interoperability of eMR/ePR systems and seamlessness in eHR sharing.
