 Direction
- Provide oversight and direction on the following areas to facilitate implementation of an interoperable eHR sharing system in HKSAR:
- Set policies relating to the adoption of health information standards
- Approve the standards lifecycle
- Approve recommendations by the eHR IS CG on areas relating to the
standards lifecycle or other health information standards areas if deemed necessary
- Membership as follows:
- The HKSAR Government (Food & Health Bureau, Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, Efficiency Unit)
- Academic sector (Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, Hong Kong College of Pathologists, Hong Kong College of Radiologists, Hong Kong Society of Medical Informatics)
- Private healthcare sector (Hong Kong Medical Association, Hong Kong Private Hospitals Association)
- Public healthcare sector (Hospital Authority, Department of Health)
- Information technology sector (Internet Professional Association)
- Standards body (GS1, HL7 Hong Kong)
