Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHRSS) is a territory-wide, patient-oriented electronic sharing platform. It enables access and sharing of participating patients’ health data by authorised healthcare organisations in the public and private sectors.

Joining eHRSS is entirely voluntary and free of charge, members of the public can register in following ways:

After joining eHRSS, the Hospital Authority (HA), the Department of Health (DH) and private healthcare providers selectively authorised by you can access and upload your electronic health record (eHR) for healthcare purposes to enable more timely diagnosis and treatment, and reduce duplicate diagnostic tests.

You can withdraw from eHRSS or revoke any authorisation given to a healthcare provider (other than HA and DH) anytime.
