To promote the Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHRSS) in the community, an eHRSS exhibition booth was set up by the Electronic Health Record (eHR) Office at the Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo (HKSLE) held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 18-24 July 2018.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, HKSLE provides a gateway to various sports and leisure information and activities for promoting physical and mental well-being. The eHRSS exhibition booth had attracted visitors of different age groups with diverse interests in health, fitness, leisure and outdoor activities etc. Through multimedia, visitors were illustrated the concepts and benefits of eHR sharing, as well as the latest development of eHRSS. Participating children, youth and parents, were all engaged in the in-booth fun games to learn more about eHRSS. Registration counters were also set up to carry out on-site registration for visitors. During the one-week event, over 1,700 members of the public had registered to join eHRSS.

Since its launch in 2016, eHRSS has received positive response from the community and the healthcare sector. As at mid-July 2018, over 800 000 patients and close to 1,600 healthcare providers had already joined the system.
