eHealth App Launches Upgraded Interface and Enhanced Functions
Creating a More Personalised Health Management Experience
A new interface and functional enhancements have been launched for the eHealth App. With a more personalised, clearer, and more user-friendly design, it further integrates citizens’ public and private medical records. Going forward, users can have a comprehensive overview of their own and their family members’ health status through a single eHealth App, making health management more convenient and seamless.
Take Full Control of Your Daily Health Journey
This upgrade enhances the overall health management experience for users. Whether attending follow-up consultations, viewing recent health records, following up on public healthcare programmes and services, or managing personal medical documents, users can easily complete everything through the one-stop eHealth App. Daily health matters are now better organised.
The new personalised homepage allows health information to be viewed at a glance. The top of the new interface features two tabs — “My Profile” and “Useful Tools”. Users can switch smoothly between their personalised health updates and frequently used functions with just one tap. “My Profile” serves as the core personalised page, covering to-do items such as appointment reminders, healthcare programme service reminders, health management alerts, and cross-boundary health record applications. Daily health management includes records such as blood pressure, heart rate, blood glucose, and body measurements. Various types of personalised health information are integrated and centrally displayed. The “Useful Tools” shortcuts consolidate the most commonly used daily functions for quick access, such as “Doctor Search”, “Booking”, “Cross-boundary Health Record”, and “Personal Folder”. In addition, the two most recently used functions are displayed within “Useful Tools” to further enhance user experience.
Real-life Benefits: Comprehensive Health Profile at Your Fingertips with One App
The upgraded eHealth App significantly improves the efficiency of information retrieval. Through a clear layout, users can more quickly find the content they need — whether viewing recent health records, tracking health data, or looking up appointment records and medical services. The list-based experience also helps users continuously follow up on their health information. One of the key new features is the “To-Do List” function, which displays upcoming appointment schedules, health management reminders, or health assessment arrangements, helping users follow up on their health journey in a more organised manner.
Mr Chan, aged 55 and suffering from early-stage hypertension, attends follow-up consultations at both public hospitals and private clinics. In the past, he often forgot his appointment dates. When his family asked questions such as “When is your next follow-up?”, “What medication are you taking now?”, or “What was your blood pressure yesterday?”, he was often unable to answer immediately. After the eHealth App interface upgrade, Mr Chan only needs to open the “To-Do List” on the “My Profile” page to see his upcoming appointment dates and blood pressure measurement reminders. The “Health Management” widget also allows him to view his recent blood pressure records at a glance. Even when facing questions from his family, he can respond easily by simply opening the eHealth App, bringing greater peace of mind to himself and his family.
Integrated Health Records: Viewing Your Health Journey on a Timeline
Another highlight of this eHealth App upgrade is the optimisation of the “Health Journey” function. The “My Profile” page now displays health records from the past 180 days for quick viewing. Users can tap “More” to access older records if needed, allowing them to better understand their health trajectory.
After the upgrade, users can view past electronic health records and healthcare programme details in a timeline format, making it easier to track their health trajectory. Users can also view radiology reports and images at any time. The “Health Journey” integrates laboratory and radiology records, medication records, medical certificates, and other information on a timeline, covering both Western and Chinese medicine records. This enables users to have a clear overview of important health information, better understand their health status at different stages, and develop healthier lifestyle habits.
Ms Lee, aged 32, has a busy work schedule and needs to attend follow-up consultations regularly and take medication on time. She has been consistently monitoring her health condition and has been using the eHealth App to check her medical records. After the upgrade, Ms Lee can use the new “Health Journey” function to browse all important health information on a single page in a timeline format, such as laboratory and radiology records as well as medication records. This allows her to clearly understand her health trajectory. Before consultations, she can quickly review past test results and treatment progress, enabling more focused discussions with her doctor and making overall health management more efficient and organised.
The newly upgraded eHealth App, with its more personalised, clearer, and more convenient design, comprehensively assists citizens in easily managing their own and their family members’ health information and daily health matters. From viewing records and following up on upcoming appointments to tracking health data and healthcare programme details, health management has become simpler and smoother than ever.
